Before you meet with your lawyer for the first time, you probably have a million questions running through your mind. Will they be kind? Will they actually care about my case? What will happen? What will they ask me? The list goes on.

1. A Warm Welcome
   When you walk into our office in Bend, Oregon, you will be greeted by one of our friendly staff members. We will offer you a beverage while you wait to speak with your attorney.
2. Meet Your Lawyer
   You will then meet with one of our licensed attorneys. Which lawyer you meet with depends on whether your matter is related to personal injury or criminal defense.
3. Tell Us About Your Case
   The first time we meet, we feel it is important to let you do the talking first. We will let you explain your situation, share any worries or concerns you have, and tell us what your ultimate goal is.
4. Analyze the Facts and Explain the Law
   After we have a better understanding of your situation, we will begin to analyze it, looking for the best possible solution. We will explain the laws that are relevant to your case in a way you can understand, and tell you what we think are your best options.
5. Answer Your Questions
   We know that you probably have a lot of questions about your case and its potential outcomes. At any point in the first meeting, we will be happy to answer any and all questions you have to the best of our ability.
6. Determine Next Steps
   We will walk you through the next steps of the process and explain your likely options for proceeding. We will always be straight with you about the reality of your case. We won’t make things seem better or worse than they are. You deserve honest answers so you can make choices that are right for you.
7. No-Pressure Approach
   At the end of our meeting, we will give you the option to retain our team to work on your case. We will not pressure you into doing anything you are not comfortable. We know the firm you work with has to be a good fit. We will let you decide whether you want to move forward with us at your side.
